Hello all. Does anyone know if there is a HELP part number for the breather grommet on the 2.5 (breather between valve cover and air cleaner housing). I was replacing the PCV and its elbow grommet and realized the breather and its grommet were leaking too. I checked several auto parts websites and could only find the PCV grommet, not the breather grommet. Are they the same by chance?

What I've done when I can't find replacement gromments anymore, is to take them out and clean them, and put them back in with RTV Sealant. That usually will plug up any leaks. And if you use black, its hardly noticable.

The # I have written down in my little parts notebook is:
10037288=grommet--breather to valve cover.
Fits an 84 is all I can tell you.

The breather grommet is the same for all years of the 2.5L, 10037287, Dorman - HELP! 42322. The same grommet is used on the 87 & 88 PCV valve that plugs directly into the valve cover.

The 84 - 86 apparently use the number above (10037288 or Dorman - HELP! 42310) to fit the 90° elbow that is between the PCV valve and valve cover (the 87 - 88 style PCV valve has a built-in 90° elbow).
