OK need advice on what is a fair price for a 3.4 Pushrod engine.

Found a local yard that says they have a 95 3.4L with 60K some miles on it. Compression is 175 and oil pressure 55. (their info)

They are asking $500 for it. If it really is what they say does that sound fair. I have not checked it out yet.

Also, do yards have any kind of warrenty that is common they offer?

Sounds like a great deal to me. When I was looking for them I couldn't find one under $650, and they all had at least 82,000 miles on them.

The local yard here said they'd warranty it for 3 months

I agree. Some junk yards will sell them between $500 up to $900 depending on the condition and mileage.

It's a good deal. No, really. I've bought wrecking yard engines, usually they have a 30 day guarantee. Basically, if it starts, runs, and doesn't immediately toss a rod, it's yours. While you have the engine out, I would steam clean it, replace the pan gasket, go with a hi volume oil pump, and replace front and rear mainseals. Then asap, start using synthetic oil.

IF the 3.4L REALLY has 60K miles on it, then it sounds like a good deal. Trouble is that the yardstick for measuring the mileage is strictly the junkyards. There is no way to verify the mileage if the engine is out of the car. You can try doing a cylinder leakdown test and that should provide some idea as to condition. Then pull the dipstick, smell and feel the oil between your fingers. If the oil feels gritty and/or if the oil smells burnt, stay away. Pull the valve covers and see how clean things look under there. With 60K miles and if the engine was cared for correctly, things should look pretty clean under there. The 3.4L is a nice upgrade from the 2.8L but in stock form it's not going to give you gobs of additional horsepower. You'll have to add some mods for that.
