Not sure how much I can help you, but it may be a start. I have an 85 with a 4 speed. The transmision are stock and the front I think came from a Jeep (not sure). There are some pictures of the side mounts in this link.

The front mount is a piece of angle iron welded to the cradle and the rear has to be fabbed up and welded--very easy--but can be purchased from bubbo joe or 86fieroEarl or go to Rockcraw's site http://www.fieroaddiction.com and look at the detailed photos and you can figure it out.

Like jeffndebrus says the front mount is nothing but a simple peice of angle iron, You can either bolt it to the cradle (using number 8 or 9 hard bolts) the back mount is simple as well but you will need a welding gun.
