88 GT Coolant tube tab - what bolts on here??? Can anyone tell me? If there is something, does anyone have the assembly?

I've never seen anything there.
All of my 88s had that tab "flying in the breeze", until I removed the tubes, completely.

My Formula is the same way. I just figured whatever was missing wasn't hurting anything and didn't bother to try and find out.

Same way on my 88, got it with 34,000 miles and nothing there. Maybe tubes left over from previous years and there was somthing on the earlier years?

I was at a show with about eight other 88s owned by members of NIFE, and we discussed this bracket also, and no one could come up with a purpose for it.

I bet this tube assembly was also used on another car and the bracket was bolted to something on the other car model.
