What size (thread pitch, etc) are the bolts that connect the engine and the transmission? This is on an 88 GT 5-speed if it makes a difference. Thanks!

There are three bolts with a stud like the one in the pic and three without. The bolts are measured from under the head to the tip as shown.

Mercedes Benz Diesel cylinder head bolts make excellent alignment tools. They are the same thread, but have a long, smooth shank that's several inches long.
