All GT no... If you have WS6 then that code will show on the label by the brake master cyl.

WS6 on Fiero was at best different springs and a rear sway bar. Maybe a little better shocks and struts. WS6 is more hype than substance on allot of GM vehicles with the option.

For shocks and struts any premium gas product you'd by from Monroe or Gabriel are far better.

The rear sway you can add if you realy want. There are several options for that.

How much better the springs might have been no body knows. GM doesn't disclose spring specifications. (Contrary to popular myth there is more to a spring that simple pounds per inch compression rate.)

The contents of a WS6 package vary per model and year, but the WS6 designation ALWAYS has to do with handling. Many people got confused when the Firehawk Firebird was introduced because they usually had the WS6 sticker on the car exterior, so most people associated it with the Firehawk package or the engine 'upgrades'. In the instance of the Firehawk it was stiffer springs, different bushings in the suspension, a slightly better shock set-up, and the 17" wheel/tire combo.

I think Ogre is dead-on with it just being just different springs and the sway bar, but I must have varied from year to year as I think all '88s GTs had a rear sway bar, but I've seen one that did not have a WS6 on the RPO sticker.

my 84 se has the ws6 option. i think in the owners manual it just says something about a "stiffer" spring. i'm not sure about the other years and models.

Exactly what WS6 had in Fiero did vary by year. The relevant spring codes for example are in my cave. Of note... the 88 models do NOT have different WS6 spring codes for that year at all. For 84 there are no WS6 rear springs but there are front springs. (options area in my cave.)

I believe some of the 88s got rear sway without WS6 option code. GT and/or Formula may have the rear sway w/o WS6 code.

Far as I Know unless it was special order, none of the 84-87 came with rear sway Except maybe the WS6.

Again, even if you had the best WS6 or whatever shocks and struts... Just about anything you buy today will out perform it. The Premium products from Monroe and Gabriel all have velocity sensitive valves, gas charge, etc. Hell even the cheap versions are probably better than what GM put on the WS6 cars.

How much better WS6 is, is of great debate. In the case of anything from the 80's WS6 may have been a tiny bit better. Even if you had WS6 basic parts like current shocks/struts will give it a boost.
