I would like to remove the mirrors and door skins from a donor car. The problem is they are power doors and I don't have the wiring harness, I tryed to apply power to the one power window but the motor just made a noise and didn't move. Now I have tryed reversing the current pos/neg but the window wont come down. How do I get the window down so I can remove the mirrors and door skins ? If I drill out the rivets to the motor and gears will the window fall down ?

mirrors are easy... if you have a ratcheting 10mm wrench there only 2 bolts
kinda time consuming if you need to use a normal wrench or a ratchet

door skins are simple it is a torx bit that fits in the plastic screw looking things on the inside of the door, but the handle is annoying to get off its a kind of a PITA

to get the windows down, there is 3 wires i think, just play with them on like a battery from a rechargeable drill, the windows go up and down REALLY FAST when i did it with the battery from my 18 Volt drill

youll get it if you keep playing with the wires on a battery

Check the links in my sig for the info you need on the mirror and door skin removal.

The window motor has two wires going to it.

Put 12 volts positive on one contact and 12 volts negative on the other, if the motor makes noise but the window doesn't go down reverse the wires and it should go down.

The window motor isn't grounded and only has the two wires that make it operate.
