The ECM question is two parts:
1) What part of the ECM needs to be changed going from a 4spd to a 5spd or auto to 5spd, if any(This is with a V6)?
2) Second, I have a ECM with a AOS Super Chip #8512A (I know they are out of business), But does anyone have reference
chart to tell what that chip changes are for. Got the ECM with a V6 and 4spd, with the V6 as a 3.4 bottom end.

Any info would be a big help.

Fiero V6 ECMs some in two flavors, the '85 and the '86-88. The part of the ECM that makes it specific to the engine/transmission combination is the PROM, the "chip" as it were. The PROMs can be changed within the ECM types, but not from one ECM type to the other, type being either '85 or '86-'88. In other words, you can't use an '85 chip in a later ECM or vice-versa.

There's no telling what gets changed in an aftermarket chip. The Fiero stock chips are very well programmed, so typically the aftermarket chips make very minor changs to timing and fuel tables.
