My hood release latch, doesnt latch. The hood will just lay down fine, but it wont catch, i can lift it up fine without pulling the lever. The lever it apparently hooked up. There were two cables ends coming off of the cable that came from the latch to the lever, but only one hooks to the lever. Any suggestion? If you can picture what im saying lol

The latch position is adjustable, and I had to raise mine not long ago because I was having to slam the hood to latch it. Maybe yours is way too low...?

Also, have you ever had your door latch closed when the door wasn't closed, then you have to pull the handle with one hand and pull the latch open with the other? I suppose you *could* have this sort of problem with your hood, however unlikely it may be, if the latch isn't fully opening before you try to close the hood.
