So your saying all may not be lost on using this motor then?

yea, i bought a new oil pressure switch today just for the hell of it. I belive if you let a car idle at 8-10 psi of oil pressure for 10 mins wouldnt it make some kind of noise? I heard nothing but injector tick. And if what 86gt3.4dohc says in true then i didnt see any metal at all. the oil poured out of the filter was just pure oil. i dipped my fingers in the oil when it first cam out and rubbed my finges together and got no metal.

so all in all im still in confusion about the tick, but i dont think its bearings. Today was the second time i heard the tick and it went away after about 2 mins.

we;; i figured out that it really only drops pressure when its been running for about 20 mins............no noise though. This is without the new pressure switch installed.
