Anyone know the length of the pressure plate bolts I need for a 3800 S/C swap using a modified Camero flywheel? I know they're M8X1.25 but don't know the length.

Thanks,
Aaron

thanks guys, I sent him an email.

I can't wait to get this thing in the car. I'm new to this stuff, but the forum's been a huge help and I'm lucky to know people around here that are helping me out as well. I've currently got the 2.8 strippd and ready to be taken out but am having a difficult time getting the cradle bolts to budge. Even with an impact they're not moving. I'm gonna try some heat on them and hopefully they'll respond to that.

Did you get a response yet? If I remember correctly it was 7/8". However you should double check using micrometer.

I'm just now finishing up a similar swap 01 GM 3.8 (Yes, with mods ;-) with 5 spd manual in 88 Formula. Any one know what starter to use and does anyone have any exhaust headers for sale for this??

Thanks, Bob

According to David Kerr "They must be 25mm long and have 2mm washers." I just got them from him since his price was good and he gave me the information. <dave@davidkerrassociates.com> if anyone else needs a set I believe he has some left.

The starter I'm using is the stock one. I was lucky enough to find an engine with everything I needed still attached to it (even the wiring harness).
