just curious if any other cars had the same brake/clutch pedal assembly...maybe a cavalier or camaro or beretta or something?

I am not aware if another vehicle used the same pedal. But did you know that GM made two different clutch pedals for the Fiero? One is all steel, and the other is steel and aluminum.

yeah, I was reading about that....and saw a replacement piece for $30 for the clutch pedal...but yes, I do need both clutch and brake pedals....will have to make a custom clutch cable though because my tranny will not use a hyrdaulic clutch with a lot of ingenuity...anyone know where I can get the entire assembly? not just the clutch pedal? for a decent price that is(I suppose I can always cut my auto brake pedal down in size and use the resto clutch pedal, but I would rather not)
