Using the drill bit / wrench method and having other difficulties, it took me hours. That was including removing / reinstalling all interior trim, etc. I don't think there's really an easy way, even if you had the door skin off, but I could be wrong.

Zeroing in on the previous thread this is the only way to do it. 30 minutes after you get the hang of it.

I used a 1/4 drive apex that I ground off to make it short enough to in between the glass and the screw head. Stick the apex in a 1/4 box end wrench and wrap in duct tape to prevent metal to glass contact. Soak the two hard to reach screws with PB blaster. I remove the two tough ones with the window up, and all others with the window down. I also loosen the two bolts that hold the interior felt retainers as to give the window a little movement. Just scribe a mark so you can put it back to its orginial setting.

Its not the perfect method by far, and all the doors have been in reasonable shape. I haven't met a door with serious rust so my technique might not work for everyone. Re-assemble in reverse order.
