Can you use ant seize on the threads of an O2 sensor with out hurting the sensor or messing up the readings

Yes, most new sensors will come with a small amount of anti-sieze already on the threads, I allways add a little more just to be safe.

When I bought a new Bousch O2 sensor the threads already had a bit of anti-seize. Definitly a good idea if your sensor doesn't have it already.

yes, O2 sensors come with anti-seize on them. but its not like never-seize, which is basicly a fine aluminum, which will burn off on exhaust, and make it even harder to undo. it is a fine powdered glass. dont use never-sieze on exhaust.

They make a copper high-temp antiseize that's meant for exhaust manifold/header bolts, sparkplugs, o2 sensors, etc... that works really well.
