It's a bad pic from when we were re-doing the interior.

Grant Corsa. No harder to install than any other Grant wheel.

Although made by APC, the Grant adapter fits this one as well. Love the way it feels.

Doesn't the adapter move the wheel closer to the driver - an uncomfortable distance closer anyway? I would think adapting it directly to the column would look/feel better anyway.

Ignore the link below. It's so I can get into chat. My school blocks any link referring to 'chat'...

I have a grant also and love it. I like to drive with the steering wheel tilted all the way down and the D allows me to do that without it rubbing on my knees. It also makes it easier to get out of the car. Tough to drive with my knees though...

Here's a side shot that shows the adapter. Overall I don't really think it moved the wheel all that much closer to me.

heheh I get to show off my seats and wheel.

I love this interior, the only thing it needs now is some black carpet and a Fiero horn to cover the center! Where did the consol come from?

i caught a deal on some made by hp racing and got them for various projects, then got an ap racing one for my 86 gt (didn't have as much cash as before) all seem to work good. even got another ap for my blazer.

they stick out a little further but not enough to be bothersome. if you get a removeable wheel it gets kind of bad though, what with the adapter and the detatching assembly.

Just put one on mine yesterday, love it!!!!!
Autozone and Pepboys hav'em on the shelf. Grant/Pilot/APC I found one at each store that was marked WAY down, since the were missing parts, bought both, combined them and had all the parts needed at about half the 60 or 70 they cost normally(including installation kit). The adaptor/extension does move the wheel back a little but unless you're pretty good sized it shouldn;t be a problem. I drive a LOT--anywhere from 750 to 1200 miles a week for my work and driving position comfort is critical for me. the extension actually helps since I can rest my elbows on the console and armrest at a more comfortable angle now. Now if I can just find a little fiero emblem to fit in the horn button.
