I Just finished with my motor and now it is time to show her off. The first 3 are pic's of how she looked when I got her home. I have spent a bit of time planning thins along with cleaning her up a bit. Since I do ceramic and powder coating I also thought I would be a good advertizing tool so I have a lot of PC'd parts on her. This is what I ended up with today. Still a few things to do but they are minor and will be new. Here it is folks: Start with this: End up with this:

That is the great thing about powder. it is totally inert and blows away with the wind.

That is #1 on the list of TO DO's.

He is correct. I needed to plug the hole while I washed and prepped the motor. It was the closest thing to me that fit so it was recruited to fill the hole.
thjanks for all the Kudos, I hope the rest of the project turns out as nice. Still have the Suspension, Brakes, Engine Bay, Deck Lid, Exhaust, Rear Clip, Rear Swaybar, 1/4 Panel Scoops, Rims, and Paint to do befoe MArch.

What engine did these exhaust manifolds come off of? Can you route them similar to the stock 2.8. I have the cross over manifolds and I don’t care for them.

They basicly are 2 Radiator side (front) manifolds off a Eldorado. No you could not uses them for a Crossover like the 2.8 stock system. I am doing Custom True Duals so I needed them to be the same.

Yes and no. Discovered my Pressure plate is the wrong size. Dealing with my supplier on that one. Has All the final parts on order and just waiting for them to get here and the clutch to be addressed so I can put it together one last time. Hoping to have it done for Daytona Show.

Looks good. Throw that Mallory Hi-Fyr box in the garbage. I had one on my car and it lasted less than a year. Those two barrels are pigs on gas/for the amount of power you get out of them.. I had one on my 5.0L Mustang. Went to a 4 BBL, in it's early days, and it was like night and day.

well after a few solid days I made a bit of progress. Still need to get a few things such as Plug Wire Seperators and Exhaust tips but those will go on after it is test fitted into the car. Here is a pic of the motor as it sits tonight with the GA Brakes, Duals, and Coil Overs.
Look MA! No WIRES!

Kento , what plug wires are you using. I'd like some yellow wires for my car , but couldn't find any. At least none that were pre-cut. Are those the kind you have to put the ends on? or pre-fit type? Got part numbers? Thanks. Looks good too !!!

YIKES! Box got tossed in Garbage today. those are Accel 8.8 MM SS wires. I think they are the standard SBC ones. they came Pre fitted. they are real long on the back side though. need to find a sett with 4 shorter wires.
