My 85 four banger runs good then it decides to have fits it just starts jerking and will stop then it will happen again latter. Sometimes I can drive 40 miles and nothing but on the trip back it will jerk again like the motor is not getting fire or gas but it is irritating. Any Ideas?

No it is a five speed. It seems almost electrical I'm trying to find the coil off my spare 2.5 but have misplaced it I was thinking it might be the coil getting hot and wanting to stop working as a wild shot. I was hoping some one here knew what was going on.

coil module or pickup can all do that.

If you have to buy new... stay away from so called performance parts.
