Ok got a question here. I bought a sub and amp setup for my 87GT. I want to know if I am going to be able to get good power out of this sub and amp or not. The sub is an 8 ohm sub but I didn't know that when I bought it, but someone said it can still be wired up to handle 2 ohms and get the full 250watts out of the Rockford Amp. Can anyone let me know. Here are the sub and amp specs:

Rockford Fosgate 250a2 amp:
Punch 250a2:
2-channel Punch Amplifier
RMS Power (4 ohms) 62.5W x 2
RMS Power (2 ohms) 125W x 2
RMS Power Bridged/Mono 250W x 1 MINIMUN
Stable Into (stereo/mono) 2 ohms / 4 ohms
Distortion Max (4 ohms) 0.05%
Frequency Response (+/- 0.5dB) 20Hz - 20kHz
Signal-to-Noise (A-weighted) >100dB
Input Sensitivity (low level) 250mV - 4V
Bridgeable: Yes
Punch Bass 0dB to +18dB @ 45Hz
Crossover Frequency 50Hz to 210Hz (HP-FULL-LP)
Crossover Slope 12dB Butterworth
Height 2.60 in (6.60 cm) Width 9.60 in (24.38 cm) Length 7.70 in (19.55 cm)

Precision Power PC104 PPI 10"
Nominal Impedance 8 ohm
83.47 dB Sensitivity
42.45 Hz Fs
16.56 TM Force Factor
14mm Xmax
250 Watts RMS
500 Watts Peak
6.75 DC Resistance

I hope this still can be wired up correctly, Ive got some friends that say yes but I want to make sure it will be stable for running good clean bass. Thanks in advance.
