After my car runs for a while, The oil gauge starts to ping all the way up then all the way down real fast. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks

Either you have a bad sending unit, or the wiring is damaged. I'd bet on the wiring. Either it is shorting out or you have a break in the wiring. Take a look at the wiring where it comes out of the oil pressure sensor to see if the insulation or the plastic wrap looks damaged or frayed.

You probably won't have to replace anything. When you look at the wiring, seperate the strands and look to see if you can see bare metal wires instead of the colored insulation. If you can, they are probably shorting. Wrap electrical tape around each of the bare wires to fix it. For a break, you'll need to check for continuity between each end of the wire. To fix that, you'd need to splice the wires together.
