Sorry Question should read:
Why does my car leak oil, only on a incline?

I’m experiencing a small oil leak that I suspect is coming from the front seal in the front of the engine. (2.8 )
The leak is very small, and doesn’t leak when I park the car on a level surface……..
Only when I park my car on a slight incline (my driveway slopes)
The car drips oil about the size of nickel.  “about 10-15 cent worth” in a few days.

Can someone explain why this only leaks on a slight incline?

p.s. I know……..”don’ t park on a incline” LOL

Thanks,
Michael

Maybe it's pooling somewhere when level and doesn't drip until you park on a slope.

I would say valve cover gasket, a small amount of oil stays in the top and when your on an incline the oil that doesn't drain down the holes but sits on the seal.

No :-) it's the front seal. I 've checked it with dye to make sure.

Thanks
