Valves and 2.8L firing order by rejuvinated

If the timing marks aren't aligned on a stock 2.8L V-6, can / will the valves hit the pistons?

I understand the firing order on the 2.8L is 1-2-3-4-5-6, correct?

The 2.8 is a non-interference engine. The valves will not hit the pistons.

Yes, that firing order is correct.
