86 GT 2.8 ( no cat ) Ok so I stored my car over the winter for 6 months and i did the following before i put it away.
-Fuel stabilizer
-3/4 gas
Over the winter i also did these mods.
-Rodneys SS vaccum lines
-Ported plenum
-Blocked off EGR
-Blocked of TB coolant lines

So i go to start it today, fires right up but it is ideling at like 3100 rpm. And ocassionally makes a small popping from the exhaust, I know that the fuel stabilizer has some kind of effect on the car because my neighbours 300zx was running funny with it too but it's ideling way to high, anybody have any ideas?

Probably a vacuum leak. Make sure your EGR blockoff isnt leaking. Also be sure your PCV hose that connects underneath the plenum is attached. Check all your vacuum lines and make sure you throttle body and upper intake are tight and not leaking around the gaskets.

sounds to me like its the steel vac line that hooks into the base of the TB, it comes out of the lower intake from a rubber conecter then necks around into the TB with a metal end..take some carb cleaner and spray around the TB while its running, if the motor idles down/chokes/stumbles then you know what it is ^ , ive been there done that bought the tee shirt, and then returned it cause it was to small. i dont think the fuel stabilzer would do it.
