no vacuum leaks I have checked a million times.... and I have changed every sensor on the car (literally) it feels like the gas pedal is stiff and when you try to tap it the car revs way up.....there is no barely tapping the gas its either all or none

Don't forget to check the EGR tube. It goes from the intake to the EGR valve. Mine was broken by the mounting plate up by the intake.

Just trying to cross out another cause for the high idle.

Right on the throttle body, opposite of the TPS... the fact that you say it sticks tells me that either the cable is binding or the spring and/or throttle plate are sticking/binding... start the car and check the operation of the throttle body...

There also is a set screw for the butterfly on the throttle body. If someone messed with it , it could be causing this problem too. If you are missing the protective cover over it, it is more than likely someone did. Make sure all your vacuum hoses are properly connected. It is easy to miss the ones under the throttle body and plenum. Even the map sensor ones could have come loose.

My vote would be for the return spring.

Check your throttle cable response at the butterflies.
