This morning my fiero didn't fire up, I hear the startmotor cranking, but nothing!

I used some startgas, but still it's not even close to ignite.

The battery got power and all electrical in the car works (gauges, radio, lights etc.)

I suspect my sparkplugs dont spark, I haven't checked that yet, cause you have to be 2 persons... and a friend is coming over in abit...

But if that's the case, what's most likely wrong?

Coil pack is possible cause or possibly even the ignition module.

First thing to do before you start taking things apart, crank it again and watch your tach. If it moves you have spark pulses from your distributor and the problem my be the coil. If it don't move, no pulses, which could be indecative of a faulty modul in the distributor, but even more likely, it's a just a poor connection somewhere. Remeve and reseat the connectors at the base of the distributor a few times. That will clean the contacts some. I would also remove and resaet the connectors on the coil too. Still no tach movement, replace the distributor pickup.

is your car a v6 or 4cyl?
what year?

if it is a single coil pull the coil wire off the distribuiter and while cranking wathch for spark, (may take 2 people)
if there is no spark comming out of the coil, then you have tracked it down that far

Today I got some help, it turned out the coil "was leaking", when you turned on the ignition there was a 1 inch spark jumping all around the ignition coil.

Bought a new one, new distributor, rotor, cables.
Everything was in very bad shape, all rusted up. But from the outside you couldn't tell. Still wonder how the inside of cables and distributor got in touch with so much water?

I had the car services by some GM professionals last summer after I bought the car... wierd that they didn't notice any of this, since this can't be new.

I took the car for a testdrive and now I feels like it got 25% more power then it had aslong as it been in my possesion.

This will probably lower my fuel consumption aswell, since that been abit high...
