The bulbs are actually clear. The back of the gauges are actually painted with flourescent paint. So you would have to paint the back of the gauge faces or get Speedhut gauges or something. I hope that helps, I'm kinda tired. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Ryan.

that's correct. there's a metal cover over the gauges that's painted flourescent orang. the back of the needles are too. i bought flourescent blue paint for mine. i painted over the orange with flat white then painted the blue over that. scraped the orange off the needles and did those too. then i installed glow gauges that are blue. looks pretty good. i don't have them hooked up yet but i will post pics when i'm finished

here's the finished gauges. the auxillary gauges are done the same way.

i got the paint from tower hobbys on the net. it's like a 4 oz can. the less you spray, the brighter it is so don't use too many coats. just enough to cover it. that black trim aroung the gauges is the part that's painted on the back. remove it and you'll see what i mean. mask the front BEFORE painting it though. overspray will get everywhere and you'll have to paint the front if you don't......trust me this.

i bought the glow gauges on ebay. they were like $42.00 for the whole set. pretty good quality too. they can switch from either green or blue.

i don't know what happened to the odometer......it just went to zero when i put everything back together......honest, it did.

damn, april fools was yesterday. well, something happened to it anyway.
