I'm attempting a swap right now, and before the engine goes in, I need to know where the PCM should go. It came from a 95 Bonneville (OBD I), so it's a bit bigger. Not quite sure...little help?

You can put it whereever you care to run the wires. I want to redesign the console so I think mine's going in the trunk. Interior space is valuable.

I have mounted them in the stock location, they will fit once you remove the original fiero ecm mounted bracket. I have heard of others mounting them behind the drivers seat.

Mine is in the stock location. Just as PBJ mentioned, it will fit if you remove the stock computer' brackets.

Duck:

DO NOT PUT IT WHERE REVINS IS

The OBD I is not a sealed ECM, and the harness that you have has been wired to be installed ( or it was ) in the center console of the car where the stock ECM was placed.

If you put your 95 ECM where Revins is, you will have serious issues as it is not H2o resistant, and will cause all kinds of issues.

When your harness was first designed, this is the location to which it was to be set:

This was taken before "clean up" could be done on it, but you get the idea of the location of where it was originally designed to be located.

Hope that helps...
