I started searching, but after an hour, I decided to ask for a straight answer. I am swapping my 4.10 for a 3.65 in my 86 GT. I am pretty sure the gear on the 4.10 was white. The one on the 3.65 is blue. Which one is correct? I will confirm the color on the 4.10 on Saturday.

the stock one on my 87 gt 5spd with 15in rims was red. let me know if you need that one cause you can have mine.i have to get a different type with my new trans so i dont need mine anymore

From what I read in the archives, the red one came with the getrag and was the same size as the blue one... I am confused

well if you find out that you need that red one, i can drop itin the mail unless they are very easy to find and are cheap..but your more than welcome to it cuz it will just go in my trash or in the fiero parts heap in the back of the garage....
