I have an 88 GT that I'm converting to stick shift (getrag); I got all the mechanical parts done, but the electric part of the swap still not done yet.

Is been a while since I cut this wires and I don't know where anything goes anymore (scary?)
I cut some big pink and yellow wires on the steering column (auto car). There was also a safety switch attach to the clutch pedal; that needs to be wire to the old ones I guess?.

If someone(s) could walk me through with steps and pictures I will appreciate it!

(I'm trying to get this car ready for Daytona, please help me!)
Thanks!
James.

I've never done an auto to manual swap before, but I don't think you needed to cut the ignition wires. The yellow should be +12V constant, and the pink should be +12V switched.. I think. At any rate, they run to the tumbler in the steering column.

Since your starting on the inside of the car, look in the area of the pedal assembly to see if there is a pigtail for the clutch interlock switch, I think you will fine one. If you do, splice the wires that you have cut back together. Have you installed a new ignition switch at the base of the collumn to get rid of the tranny interlock? If you are using the auto engine harness jumper the yellow and pink wires that connected to the park netural switch and docate the reverse light wires on the plug to wire into the getrag reverse switch. That should get you going.
