hi all!
every day i hear for the pump build presure for like 2 seconds then it stops before i cranck the engine, well today the fuel pump ran for like 10 seconds before stoping, i cranked the engine and it ran. when i got back i turned the engine off and the pump was still runing for like another 10 seconds more,i put the key back in the ignition and the pump did it again it turned for like 10 second, also i remember last night the engine cut off once wile i was driving and stumbled a few times also.
is the fuel system lossing pressure?, or is the pump going bad? could it be the computer? fuel injector? electrical?
plz help.

It sounds like your fuel pump relay is slow to release. The quickest way to test is to swap the fuel pump relay for the other relay that is mounted next to it on the fire wall. Im pretty sure they are interchangeable.

The fuel pump relay is controlled by the ECM. Unplug the oil pressure sender and see if the problem goes away. If so, you need a new sender. If not, you need a new relay.
