85 ebrake question

Looks like I need to replace all ebrake components on my '85. Only thing that can stay is the handbrake lever itself. Do I need to stay '85 specific, or will parts / cables from other years fit (i.e. can I get the parts from an '87) ??

I checked on The Fiero Store website and it appears that the e-brake components are interchangeable from 1984-1987 but of course the 1988 cars had a redesigned brake system so they are not compatable.
Check Ogre's cave for safety and brake info.

I eliminated my e-brake system when going with the grand am upgrade but of course this is not endorsed by the safety experts. I also have an automatic tranny which helps----and I live in Jacksonville Flat Florida.
