Hey everyone.

I just got my fiero back in action this week and I have had it for a few days now. To make a long story short I went to go start the beast this morning and I turned the key, sure enough the inside lights come on and I try to roll down the window but its frozen shut. I take the key out and go brush off my car. When I got back in I tried to start the car and there was no power at all. The dome lights wouldn't work nor the radio etc; Does anyone know what could cause this sort of this to happen? I have had the car for about 4 days with no problems. I should mention that the car and battery have been pretty much dormant for 2 years I did charge it for a lilttle while before heading out.

Any ideas? Quick fixes? More than likely just a loose battery connection but it was much to dark to check after work.

Thanks in Advance

Sudden loss of battery power is most certainly a bad battery connection. You can replace that bolt in the battery terminal for about a buck. I suggest trying that before you do anything else.

How old is the battery? You have either a bad connection as already mentioned or a bad cell in the battery

Hey...that happened to me last night too. After work, I went to start my car and the lights and everything worked but not quite enough juice to crank the engine. I ended up getting somebody to help my push my car UPHILL out of the parking space and I started it by having the my Fiero roll the the hill.

When I got home, I let it idle in the driveway for about 20 minutes. THis morning there was enough juice to start the car.

Not bad, considering I've had this delco battery in my Fiero for about 11 years now.

.....so I share your pain...
