I don't see how, pokey. As far as I recall, you can't bore them much more than they already are, but I could be wrong. Stroke it maybe? The stock 4.3L V6 is a Small Block Chevy with 2 cylinders missing, its a 90* engine with nothing in common with the 3.4. I don't know of anyone who makes much after market stuff for the 3.4, so you may have to get all custom internals.

Nope. At most you could get it to 3.6, but I believe 3.5 is as far as it can go. If I remember correctly, the 3.4 is actually 3350 cc's (a 3.35 vs. 3.4), so even after boring it over you might still have a 3.4.

The only way to make a 3.4L into a 4.3L is easy. Follow these steps:
1. Remove the air cleaner/intake hose.
2. Remove 3.4L
3. Install 4.3L
4. Re-install air cleaner/intake hose.

To get a 3.4L to 4.3L would require you to bore the cylinder .380 (most places bore .030 or .060.)
AND you would need to lengthen the stroke by .170. They may seem like small measurements but to an engine block that is huge.

or you could just flip the badge on top....

3.4 to 4.3

that will be $25,000 for a 3.4 to 4.3 conversion.
