where is the flasher for the blinker located? is it the single silver canister under the passenger side dash beside the blue dingy thingy?
im asking because when i flip on my right blinker it gets stuck on and doesnt blink... it just lights up the right side of the car so i get to play blinker....
I don't know bout the blue dingy thingy, But I just had to say I love the Bill & Ted Quote in your sig.

The signal light flasher is located under the instrument panel, to the left of the steering column. The flasher unit in the convience center on the passanger side is for the hazard lights.
If the right side signal lights don't flash, you either have a blown bulb on the right side, or a bad connection in the right side signal light wiring. Check the bulb connections in the sockets, sometimes a bulb doesn't make a good connection with the terminals in the sockets.

well its not a bulb because they all come on... and when it gets stuck and i turn it off but have the parking lights on the signal comes on in the dash.
Now that you guys said bulbs, I do remember a Time on my friends GMC that the blinker wouldnt work on the passenger side and we replaced the bulbs, still didnt work but then replaced the socket and it worked fine.
BTW:I think Cliff is Ruffus too.

The other posability is that you reciently replaced the bulbs and put a 1156 in place if the proper 2057.

I had a problem with my bulbs not connenting all of the time. When I took them out the dielectric grease had turned thick and green. So I cleaned out all of the connectors and applied new grease in the sockets and problem solved! Hope this helps.

why would you need to use dielectric grease on that low of a voltage/current application???

Because the bulbs seemed to have alot of play in them which I thought was causing the blinkers to stop working. So I put the grease in there to stop the play in the bulbs. Viola, blinkers have not cut out since.

With all of this, I have a similar question. My left blinker does not glow in my dash cluster. What kind of bulbs are those? I haven't taken it apart yet.

TaurusThug- if what you're saying is that they will just come on and stay on, my camaro has a similar problem. i think it's just a loose conneciton at the steering column somewhere, cuz i can tilt it down and back up, and it works for a while. Eclipse- the bulbs are the same as the others in your IC, i'd say just pull it out, and take one you dont need (like the shift up/down ones) and stick it in where the turn signal one goes.
