ok never thought I'd switch my seats for racing ones but after sitting in more comfortable ones, and seeing that the racing seats look like the ones I sat in. What's the dimensions I can go?

20"WIDE 20"DEEP 37"TALL is what I found not sure if that'd work or not

as far as im concerned the only dimension you need ot worry about is how wide the seats are.... for example a longer seat (from the back of the seat to the end of the place where your butt rests, would only be a matter of comfort, someone witha small butt and short legs would like a shorter seat in that respect

same with how tall the seat is, it's whatever is comforatble for you, as long as its not sticking outa the roof.... racing seats are ment to be comfortable for the individual, thats why there are so many diff sizes and shapes, one for every body shape....

(i need a plus).... btw ill be in touch with you ina bit i am starting my 3800 swap

The stock seats are 20" wide by 23" deep by 31" tall. Don't get any seats much wider than 20" because you will have to wedge them in. My aftermarket seats are 20.5" wide and they rub a bit. This makes them harder to slide back and fowards. You also want to watch how tall the seats are or the will be touching the roof. Mine are 35" tall and fit pretty good.

My seats are Monza brand. I found them on Ebay doing a search for racing seats.

If you found some that are comfortable, you need to get those dimensions. Any change in dimension and style will affect the way they feel when you sit in them won't they?
