I think this is probably one of the most difficult swaps you'll ever have to go through simply because:
1 - Very few other people have done it.
2 - You will have to fabricate EVERYTHING
3 - It's OBD-2 which makes it almost completely incompatible with any of your existing gauges, etc.
OBD-2 is a real pain in the ass because everything is daisy chained.. for example, if it doesn't find the ABS computer, the car might not start. If it's missing anything, it might not start.
But if you can get it done, it'll be worth it. Just make sure you don't get into it too deep and then get frustrated and end up selling everything on eBay (which I have seen a lot).
Simplest swap in the world is the Camaro 3.4 swap. 200hp is VERY attainable from the Camaro / Firebird 3.4 block.
When mated with a 5-Speed getrag, you can expect mid 14s in the quarter all day. Probably a little quicker.
If you turbo it.. then you can hit into the 13s pretty easy.
