Almost any aftermarket wheels will fit the Fiero as long as you can find an adapter kit for the car.

I have a Grant wheel in my 84 to make it a bit easier to get in and out.

If you get a Grant wheel, the adapter is part #3196. It is a bit thick which brings the wheel a little closed to you. If this is a problem you can get a thinner one through Summit (# unknown).

With the Grant wheel adpter does the wheel have to be Grant? Or could you use APC?

I have an APC steering wheel installed in my 88. I purchased the APC adapter, but a part of it was missing (the actual adapter flange) and it would have made the steering wheel 1-2" closer to me... which I did not want.

I used some 1/4" steel and made my own adapter (grinder & drill are all that are needed) in about an hour. I used the APC splined hub, the APC contoured cap (covers the outside of the column, then my 1/4" adapter (bolted to the APC splined hub) and then the new APC wheel (bolted to my 1/4" adapter). I have not noticed any difference in the location of the wheel.

If I can get my digital camera to work, I will post a pic of it installed.

Grant makes their own adapter that's about 1" thick. It's a heck of a lot better than that one with the sleeve that brings the wheel closer by about 2". I'ts noticeable.....

I have a grant wheel with the 1" adapter. Puts the wheel right where the factory one was. Perfect.

Well, there was a Grant wheel in my 86GT and I didn't like it. It was very hard and so small it hurt my hands to drive it.
Thanks for all the suggestions.

Yes. Grant wheels are interchangable with APC. I have an APC wheel with a Grant billet adapter.
