today i put in the new clutch pedal i got from the fierostore, and i lost what seems like a lot of power/kick, i used to be able to floor it going around corners and get the back end to jump around a lil and now i can't, it just feels slower, any ideas? it could just be that the clutch catches two or three inches from the top instead of an inch from the floor, i dunno, any help is appreciated

also i have my ebrake cable adjusted about as tight as it will go and it still doesn't hold very well, should i just get a new cable sometime?

It sounds like you overtightened the ebrake cable. This will actuate the ebrake and make the brakes drag. Maybe this is why your car feels like it lost power. Look at the top of the page for the link to the Ogres cave. He has a section on how to adjust the brakes.
