The OEM HP figures are always taken on an engine dyno, not a chassis dyno . Figuring drivetrain losses your HP figure at the flywheel could be 30% higher. The HP at the flywheel will always be higher. A stock 2.8L only does about 105 HP or so on a chassis dyno. Your figures do look good.
Yup, those look normal. Here my 2.8 thats been bored and stroked, etc. I have a complete intake that has been extrude honed, that I might put on this winter, to see if I get any improvements.

Actually most 2.8's dyno between 110-115 hp at the wheels stock. Drivetrain losses in a fiero are no more then 17% even with an auto tranny.

Guy I know who apparently knows alot about cars think that most cars lose between 30-40% Then I find out he doesnt even know how to put his old TA back together. Long story, good for a laugh. Thought id share that little tidbit.
His TA has t-tops BTW
Thats actually some good numbers for a 2.8. Is it worth all the work youve put into it?

bored and stroked, wouldn't it be closer to 3.0-3.2 liters displacement, or did you bore/stroke it out to 3.4? Also, I'm guessing once you do a little work to the fiero the intake would be a decent bottleneck. Not sure of the flow numbers, but wouldn't switchin to a carb'd intake put alot more life into the engine?

yeah, It's bored and stroked to 3.2l (about) and we plan to stick with fuel injection. For the trubo that is. anyway, I got back from the track and wasn't dissappointed with my times. last years best was a 15.390@85.7mph with the oem clutch. This years best time was a 15.163@88.5mph with a Spec stage 3 clutch. actually, i only got 3 runs in and two were 15.163 and the other was 15.164 haha. anyway, the clutch cut off .23 secs, so that was cool. any way. thats todays wrap!
