i just went about replacing my [rubber] hoses on my 87 GT after my waterpump ruptured. The "inlet intermediate" and "lower radiator" hoses are not shaped to fit right. They can be forced to fit, which I did, but that seems to increase the chances of the hoses crimping/kinking. I suggest if you plan to replace either of those two hoses, don't purchase from the fiero Store. The other hoses are shaped perfect.

perhaps you recieved the wrong parts.

Have found within previous threads about replacing water pumps / hoses that this is the case for other pre-88 V6 owners. Also, the hoses matched what the images on their site look like. But to give the fierostore a chance since they never done me wrong before, fine products delivered fast, I'm also open to the idea that somehow i get an incorrect set. Maybe someone who has bought the V6 hoses and found they installed niecly can chime in and set me straight.

I ordered by going to 'Cooling & AC', then picked 87 V6.

are you talking Rubber hoses?
if so... why would you order Rubber hoses VS just going to the local parts store and buying some, even if they dont have the EXACT one at the parts store, you Can take your old ones with and i almost Guarante that you can find somthing that will work
my lower rad hose still has the NAPA sticker on it if you want ill go out and get the part number off it

To make it simple and quick I ordered all new hoses for my 86Gt from the Fiero Store when I changed my waterpump. They all fit without modification. My guess is that somehow you got the wrong parts.

Now you did it. Their web site is down.

Alright - most likely I just got wrong parts! No biggie. Well, just goes to show, sometimes freak things like that happen - my faith in the Fiero store is back at 100% Thanks for the replies everyone!

i have installed hoses last year V6 and had same problem found one was longer then other and i switched them and they were fine, btw i cahnged al hosses except the heater hoses in front, got evertthing from fiero store....................good luck.........
