how would i go about repairing little dents and dings and chips and stuff in fiberglass?

If it's small stuff, you can just remove any loose material, and if the damage isn't through the fiberglass, you can just use regular body filler. If it's through the fiberglass, you have to use a fiberglass resin mixture for the waterproofing.

ok, these are kinda chips gone, like...little chunks around corners and stuff. so just a fiberglass resin mixture should do it?

There is a product called "resin jelly", it basicly is fibergalss resin that is about the consistancy of bondo. You mix it just like bondo but will be harder when done than bondo is.

Yes, the fiberglass resin is the stuff to use for that. I use the Bondo brand fiberglass repair stuff, and it works great. You need that for the waterproof qualitiies because regular Bondo is pourous and will retain moisture.
