when I drive down the road I can hear a squeaking sound from my brakes and when I hit my brakes they squeak even louder.....what makes them do that? I dont notice the brakes being any weaker or anything so do I need a brake job???

Worth looking at. It may be a pad wear indicator squealing against the rotor=brake job.
