I now have 2 glass sail panels form an '84 SE that I'd like to put on my '88 Formula. Is there a way to remove the 'SE' printing from the glass? Is it etched in or just painted on that backside? Anyone done this before?

I was also wondering how to do this. I have the same situation, except I want to put them on my coupe.

I need to replace my coupe sail panels too and have an '84 parts car. How to remove the glass and also remove the SE? Those are my questions.

It's printed on the backside of the glass and I don't know how it could be done. I'm not sure if the glass can be removed or how risky it is to remove it without breaking it. Then I think you'd have to strip the paint from the backside of the glass and repaint black. Not sure on how good that would look.

www.fierosails.com I believe has instructions on removing the panels from the car and the plastic sail (didn't see anything about glass) from the frames or search the forum for "sail panel removal" etc.

I would try to find a set of glass ones all black from an 84 coupe.
