Suction mtetal tubing line at the A/C V5 compressor is 0.724" O.D. Little further upstream is a rubber hose then back to metal tubing. Where is the best place to install a line filter and what size does it take at that point?

A filter will go in the HP lind near the eveporator, before the oriface. I'll have to look under the hood and see where it would fit best.

It looks like it will fit best under the front trunk removable liner. It should fit just below the liner after the line turns upward.

Could one of these be used to keep from cutting the liquid line? Might have to cut some plastic.
