I installed a water injection system on my friends Pontiac Trans Am about 20 years ago. His had to be mounted in the top of the air cleaner and aimed into the carburetor.

The easiest place for you to install it would be in the hose going to the TB. It just sprays a fine mist of water into the intake stream to help the engine not to sprark rattle. Good luck.

I think it's better to inject it after the tb, otherwise the waterdorps will damage the tb's blades!?!

GTDude meant after the turbo, but before the throttle body.

That's what I meant too! The thing is; how much water are you going to inject!?! A gallon in a minute isn't the propper way I think!!!

Water injection is only needed where detonation is a problem. Usually this phenomenon occurs at turbo boost levels exceeding 10 psi. The injection should always take place in the manifold and this requires a pump that will produces significant pressures above the boost which you intend to run. There was an article for a DIY water injection system on one of the links on the turbo Regal. Buick Grand National website. An adjustable pressure switch can be used to turn on the system,
a sprayer pump used to generate pressure, a nitrous nozzle for the fogging, and an overflow bottle to hold the water mix.
While H2O injection ( or more ideally a water alcohol mix) can be used to great advantage to control detonation with a turbo, you may find that it may slow you down a bit when used when it's not needed.

Ok, but I run the GTturbo without a intercooler. Looks to me the H2O (with or without alki) will work like a intercooler! So the mixture in the cilinders will be more compact, witch will give you more HP's. I agree if you say that detonation is less, but the more mixture in the cilinders must give me more power.
