removing shift knob by fierokit

I want to replace my automatic shift knob, theres a small clip on the back of the shifter and one under the thumb button. do i just hammer the clip in on the clip for the shifter to come out? anyone know?

silver86se is right, use a screwriver to pop out the clip.It will still be real tight, you'll probably have to give it a couple good whacks from underneath, just be careful it doesn't fly off and break something.
