I bought Darrelle's Plenniom and TB and when I put it on I would like to swap one of my spare Valve Covers with fresh paint.

Has anyone been successfull without removing the middle intake? Let me know if there's a trick.

I'm also installing headers at the same time if it makes a difference.

Hmmm. Its tight back there.
I'm thinking if you went an removed the decklid and/or swung the cradel back a few inches it could be doable.

I did both to replace my plugs.

I ment the back as in the one closest to the back of the car. The (trunk side) I should have mentioned.

flexable extension. that what I used. but, getting it back in with gasket straight is even tougher. taking off the middle intake is easier than trying to work around it.

Hmm, I was able to change all of my sparkplugs without having to remove anything. Of course, I got really dirty cramming my arm back there...

Changing spark plugs is cake compared to changing Valve covers.

I think its probably impossible to remove the valve covers without removing the mid intake. Once you remove the intake and get down there you'll see why. There is NO clearance for the valve covers, plus there are wires and vacuum tubes and such that are in the way. You can probably do the whole thing in about 2 hours minus setup time.
