i have an 84 Rochester 2.5 ThrottleBody that i want to bore out as far as possible. I have tried to contact Darrel Morse, but have had no reply the last couple of times i have emailed so i am just going to go to a machine shop and have them do it.

First question. what is the MAX MM one of these can be bored out to?

also

Is the only thing that needs to be done to the TB is increasing the main opening and adding a larger opening disk?

thanks for tollerating my igfnorance, i have no exp with these 2.5 TBs

Where did my reply go? I replied yesterday?

Anyway. I dont think anybody has done something like this, are you talking about the standard 84-86 TB? If so, then I would try it, they are common, seem pretty thick. Ask your machinist what he thinks can be taken off. I would bet you would need a bigger injector though as well.
