Hey yall I just got my 86 SE 2m6 fiero back up and funning after a radiator explosion and now my tail lights are giving me problems. In the Fiero Mechanics guide I got it just says check the fuses and I did and they were all ok. Do any of you know of another was of getting them to work again. My dash lights are out too.

Check your connections and grounds for corrosion. It wouldn't hurt to try and clean them anyway, also double check your fuses.

Did you check the fuses with a test light? Your dash lights and taillamps go thru the HL/dimmer switches. You could even have a bad dimmer module too. Give more info and I'll help.

Do you mean tail lights as in just the "parking light" function of the tail lights, or are they completely out (as in no parking, brake, or turn signal)?

You probubly have a bad headlight switch,the one on the left of the dash.If that doesn't work then it's the brake pedal switch,behind the brake pedal and up some (a bad brake pedal switch would indicate no brake lights,but you would probubly have headlights,and possibly the side marker lights too).If those two dont work,then you going to have to loosen the rear pasenger side inner fender well,there is a bunch of grounds that meet in one spot near the battery.
