Anyone with any experience with these wheels. I am looking to purchase
17" x 7" - 38mm offset with 215/45/17s for the fronts
and
17" x 8" - 38mm offset 245/40/17s for the rears

Here is a link to the wheel:
http://www.asaalloywheel.com/asawheel_e/wheelpro_v/wheelpro_sub/detail_view.htm l?pdt=AR1&sel=1p

I guess the current production of this wheel is not available in a 5x100, but Tirerack assure's me the wheels they have in stock are 5x100.

Anyone see any problems with this for my 87 GT. I am putting WCF performance spring and rear coil-over kit for a 1" drop.

Anyone? Anyone? Bueler??

TTT

(boy, is Cliff doing something to the server(s). about 50% of the time I try to access the Tech D & Q section, I get the message that server maintenance is being performed.)

Anyone have any experience with these wheels or wheel sizes. I wanna make sure I don't run into suspension problems.

Thanx,

Yes I do have those wheels. But they are on an 88GT.
They are 17x7-38 5x100 with 215-45's on front
and 17x8-35 5x100 in rear with 255-45's. They are kind of tall in back but that is the size that is called for on the 3.5L engine conversion with a 4T65E. That way the speedo will be correct.
I have not noticed any problems with the suspention.

You cant see from this pic but the front and rear wheels are a little diferent, like the 88 GT wheels. The rear wheels have a 1.5 lip and the fronts are almost flush like the front 88 wheels
I like them that way, it makes it look kind of stock.
The rears are very agressive looking.

Thanx RickAddy. Kewl, at least I know the sizes I have chosen will work. I am getting the extra offset to keep more of the tire inside the wheel well. I also decided on different wheels since the car is yellow.

What do you all think of these?
