There are several sources for reprogrammed PCMs for the 3800SC. I see ZZ Performance has the "1.0 DHP" for $294.00 with core. Would that be the best choice for a 3800 SC with a 3.20 pulley and high ratio rocker setup? Does it make a difference which vendor you get them from? Aren't they all the same DHPs (Digital Horsepower PCM)?. Is there such a thing as one that is specifically for a Fiero 5 speed? Or would it work the same to use the one for the GTP?

To each his own, but I'm waiting until they come out with the DIY reprogramming package.

There SHOULD be 2 companies releasing software shortly. DHP is one, HPTuners is the other.

You'll probably want a custom setup, depending upon which configuration you'll put in the Fiero - issues with misc sensors and whatnots. I just want the ability to set my own parameters.

If you need it right now, DHP can program it for you.
